Jeff Bank is an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he specializes in antitrust and commercial litigation while also acting as Pro Bono Coordinator for his office. A graduate of NYC public schools (PS 26, MS 216), he also earned a BS and JD from Cornell University. In his free time, Jeff enjoys organizing dinners for family and friends and traveling extensively, often planning his trips around food or music.
Richard Mandell is a retired investment banker having worked at Prudential Securities, Inc. for over 25 years as a Managing Director of the firm’s Retail Trade group. Mr. Mandell has served on numerous corporate boards, including a number of companies in the restaurant industry such as Sbarro’s Inc, and Smith and Wollensky Restaurant Group, Ltd. Mr. Mandell was Chairman of the Board of two public companies, Encore Capital Group, Inc. and Hampshire Group, Ltd. Mr. Mandell was also a Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger franchisee and operated five Wendy’s restaurants.
Jeffry Haber is Professor and Chair of Accounting at Iona College. He is also Senior Director, Finance of The Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation engaged in healthcare policy research. He is an author (Accounting Demystified and What If Everything We Knew About Investing Was Wrong?) and frequent speaker at international and national conferences. He holds a PhD degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and MS and BS degrees from Syracuse University and is a CPA (NY) and licensed Community Association Manager (FL). He consults with a number of companies in a variety of industries and has done stand-up comedy.
Lynda Dias is a professor of Hospitality Management at New York City College of Technology, CUNY and a hospitality consultant to several internationally recognized luxury lodging brands. She earned her master’s degree in Labor and Policy Studies from Empire State College SUNY. In her free time, she is the Faculty Adviser for the Spoons Across America Club at City Tech and enjoys traveling and discovering new culinary delights with her foodie friends.

A 13-year veteran of Viacom, Charlotte Castillo manages the strategic development, planning and marketing for all Viacom licensing IP – including TMNT, SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol, South Park, the MTV brand. She leads a team of 28 people around the world.
Charlotte has also been recognized throughout the industry – Women In Cable Telecommunications’ Rising Leaders Program in 2009 and NAMIC’s prestigious Executive Leadership Development Program in 2012.
Prior to Viacom, Charlotte was Marketing & Creative Services Director at Latina Magazine, where she developed trade and consumer marketing initiatives, drove strategic partnerships with major Latino and women’s organizations, and spear-headed advertising/sponsorship-based relationships with companies including Chevrolet, Unilever, L’Oreal, among others.
A NYC native born to immigrant parents from the Dominican Republic, Charlotte graduated from Wesleyan University with a BA degree in Sociology and American Studies and is fluent in Spanish.
An avid traveler, Charlotte currently lives in Riverdale with her husband and son.

Rachelle G. Parker
Rachelle G. Parker was an elementary school principal in both private and public schools for 25 years, following several years of teaching. She received her doctorate in curriculum and teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University in 1986. After retiring in July 2012, she decided to focus on her passion: Kids and Nature. This passion is still evolving and now includes healthy eating and nutrition education. She is active in several programs that help children and families learn to love nature in order to save and sustain our Earth. A belief in progressive, child centered education that started when her children attended Bank Street School for Children in the 80’s and 90’s continues to motivate her activities. Rachelle was excited to join Spoons Across America as a Trustee in 2014.
